Welcome from our principal
Muirfield High School is a warm, welcoming school. We believe in the education of the whole child; working together with parents to assist our students to grow – academically, creatively and socially. Our mission is to assist our students to develop resilience, a love of learning and community spirit so that they can successfully meet the challenges of an ever-changing world with confidence and purpose.
I am exceptionally proud of our broad curriculum and our extensive extra-curricular program. These are the result of our dedicated, passionate and caring staff. What makes Muirfield unique is the warm and respectful interpersonal relationships between staff, students and families and our focus on nurturing each student's personal identity and values.
I believe it is important for our children and young adults to be happy at school; for their individual talents to be recognised; and for them to be challenged and supported in their learning. These characteristics are central to our ethos at Muirfield.
When students are known, supported and challenged, as they are at Muirfield, they are able to learn and achieve. With a strong focus on quality teaching underpinned by high expectations for academic effort and the achievement of personal best, Muirfield students shine in the academic, creative and sporting fields.
