Students holding their bunsen burner licences

We felt very proud. But we weren't as proud as our teacher, Mr Jankovics. The smile on his face was bigger than ours. He was so proud of us. Getting a bunsen burner licence is a big achievement. It was more exciting than getting a pen licence in primary school. You use a pen every day but a bunsen burner is special. Prac lessons are entertaining. It is really satisfying to control the oxygen to change the flame. The blue flame is the hottest. You get to mix chemicals and see what happens when you apply heat. by Charles G & Jasmine S, 7P
