Make a Difference Day

On the 29th of July, Caitlin and Tom, of Year 10, attended the NSW Parliament for the Make a Difference Day.

During the day issues such as social justice and racism were addressed and students contributed ideas as to how they could make a difference in their communities.

Caitlin reported that concerns raised by them and other young people from across the state included climate change and equal representation in parliament.

Tom said, "Overall the day taught us practical ways to make a difference in our attitudes and actions with the people around us to make the world a better place."
