Enrol

Our school is currently accepting local and non-local enrolments. To ensure we have enough places for students who live in our intake area, please note we cannot guarantee that non-local enrolment applications will be accepted.

If your child is in Years 7 to 11, please follow the steps under "Ready to enrol?" If you are unable to submit an online enrolment form, please download the paper form and hand it in to our front office.

If your child is in Year 6 and you are seeking enrolment for next year, please speak with your child's primary school. Applications for our High Achievers class are made directly to our school. Read Year 6 to 7 enrolment for more information.

Our friendly staff are here to help. If you have questions, please contact us.

All applications for Year 6 students at government primary schools are submitted via the student's primary school, using the online link provided by the primary school. Year 6 students at non-government schools should contact Muirfield directly.

Year 7 High Achievers class

Muirfield has High Achievers classes in each year group. The Year 7 High Achievers caters for students who are talented in literacy and numeracy, who process information and new concepts quickly or who are academic high achievers. The class is formed based on a portfolio which demonstrates a student's talents and giftedness over a range of domains. Students who are achieving results well above average and enjoy being challenged may find this class rewarding.

Applications for the High Achievers class should be submitted to Muirfield High School's front office by 1 May 2026 using the application form. Details on supporting documentation are found on the form.

Paper applications

If you are unable to enrol online, you can download and fill out the enrolment form. Then hand it in at our school's front office.
